Sea Mist is Your Pet Friendly Myrtle Beach Hotel
Welcome to Myrtle Beach's most pet friendly hotel with a variety of pet friendly hotel features that will help make your pet feel right at home. Sea Mist understands that your furry little friend is, without a doubt, part of the family too. So among the 800 plus units at Sea Mist, there are select accommodations dedicated to guests who wish to bring their pets. We welcome all well-behaved, small to medium-sized dogs and cats.

Sea Mist Pet Etiquette & Helpful Information
In order for us to continue as one of the most popular pet friendly hotels in Myrtle Beach, we request that you show the following courtesies. Failure to do so may result in your being required to remove your pet from the Resort.
- The Resort can only accommodate pets that are less than 100 pounds. Pets over 100 pounds are not permitted at the resort without the General Manager's specific advance permission.
- You must notify the Front Desk at check-in that you have brought a pet to the resort.
- You must leave a cell phone number with the front desk where you may be reached at any time that your pet is left alone in your room.
- All pets brought to the resort must be in good health and must be current with all recommended shots and vaccines.
- All pets brought to the resort must be both well-behaved and people-friendly. You must maintain complete control of you pet at all times.
- Pets must be on a leash or otherwise confined whenever outside your room.
- Pets must be effectively confined (for instance by a leash or a crate) when left alone in your room or at any time that resort staff is in your room (for instance, housekeeping or maintenance).
- Pets are not permitted on as resort elevator.
- Pets are not allowed in the Pools, Jacuzzi's or Water-Park's or their coinciding Decks.
- Pets are not allowed in any resort building. Other than those guest-rooms specifically identified as "pet-friendly".
- You must clean up after your pet, both in your room and on resort grounds. Please bring to the resort any supplies you will need for removing your pet's waste (for instance, a litter box or pooper scooper). The resort does not provide these supplies.
- The "Pet-in-Room" door hanger (available at the front desk) must be displayed on your room's entry door.
- There is a fenced-in dog run available at Sea Mist located at the intersection of Yaupon Drive and 13th Avenue South which can accommodate 1 to 2 dogs at a time. Dogs cannot be left unattended at anytime while in the dog run.
- The resort charges a non-refundable $50.00 per pet per stay.
- The City of Myrtle Beach Leash Law:
- Dogs in public must be on a leash at all times.
- No animals are allowed on the beach or Ocean Boulevard between 21st Avenue North to 13th Avenue South of Myrtle Beach during any time.
- No dogs are allowed on the beach between 9am - 5pm from May 15 - September 15.

Pet Services in Myrtle Beach: There are many services available in Myrtle Beach for both cats and dogs such as groom & boarding services and pet kennels. When planning a day trip, some guests utilize these services while at the beach or when scheduling a day trip.
